Fashion Styling students created an editorial exploring the interplay between landscape, silhouette and narrative.

FAD Dubai styling students worked on an editorial project under the mentorship of Camilla Rizzolo, developing a visual narrative set against the landscape of Ghost Village.
Positioned between abandoned architecture and sweeping desert dunes, the editorial explored themes of presence and absence, permanence and erosion, transforming the location into an integral part of the story rather than a backdrop.

The styling centred on a palette of muted golds, ochres, sand tones and black, with structured silhouettes and sculptural forms creating a striking contrast against the fluidity of the desert. Distressed textures, ribbed knits and architectural details echoed the weathered surroundings, creating a seamless dialogue between fashion and environment.

Natural light, dramatic shadows and the raw beauty of the location further enhanced the imagery, resulting in an editorial that balanced atmosphere with visual precision.
Projects like these enable FAD Dubai students to explore the full creative process—from concept development and styling to art direction and execution—while building a strong editorial perspective within contemporary fashion.
