Couture In The Desert: Styling Editorial

FAD Fashion Styling students created a bold editorial exploring couture, contrast and visual storytelling.

FAD Dubai styling students worked with industry mentor Camilla Rizzolo on an advanced editorial project set against the dramatic landscape of Dubai’s desert dunes.

The editorial explored the contrast between couture fashion and natural terrain, combining sculptural silhouettes, ethereal ivory ensembles and striking black feathered details to create a powerful visual narrative. Styled around both a male and female model, the project introduced a new dimension of storytelling through interaction, proportion and composition.

Through careful styling, accessories and image direction, students translated abstract concepts into impactful fashion imagery while developing a deeper understanding of editorial aesthetics and creative execution.
