FAD Students were hosted by the CEO & Management Team of the couture fashion house, as part of their industry learning at FAD.
Students at FAD Dubai from various departments were hosted by the luxury fashion house Designers & Us', for an industry visit. Known for uniting designers from across the globe under their umbrella, Designers & Us fosters cross-cultural collaborations, to create a platform that showcases and supports haute couture designers from around the world.
During the visit the students got the opportunity to meet the CEO - Mr. Tarek TD, Executive Director - Roy El Sabbagh and Stylist - France Villegas, of Designers & Us. From shedding light on the luxury retail operations to supporting emerging designers as well as FADTalents to covering the challenges often faced by entrepreneurs in the Middle Easter market, their team provided an in-depth analysis of the brand’s DNA & the Middle Eastern market to the students.
Visits like these are crucial in providing students insights into the opulent world of haute couture, and to experience fashion artistry and craftsmanship.
