FADTalents stepped inside Bella Donna Atelier in Dubai Design District (d3) for an industry visit built around one of luxury fashion's least visible foundations: textiles. Students got first-hand exposure to premium fabrics, bespoke craftsmanship, and the sourcing and selection process behind the materials that ultimately define a garment's quality.

The visit went beyond observing finished pieces, giving students direct insight into how textile choices and craftsmanship decisions shape a garment long before it reaches a runway or a rack. Engaging directly with industry professionals on-site, students saw first-hand how sourcing decisions, material quality and craft intersect to define what luxury fashion actually is at a material level.
