FAD Students attended an insightful masterclass on campus with Clare Holbrook, Director of PR & Communications at Maison Pyramide, a leading communications agency renowned for shaping the narratives of luxury fashion, hospitality, beauty and cultural brands across the Middle East and more.


With over 14 years of experience in luxury communications, Clare has led compelling regional campaigns and strategic initiatives for globally recognised brands and platforms including Yves Saint Laurent, Riyadh Fashion Week, Elie Saab, Beauty, Jay3lle and The Red Sea Edition. With her extensive industry experience, Clare offered students a behind the scenes perspective into the evolving world of luxury PR and brand communications.



The masterclass explored a fundamental truth at the heart of luxury that is brands don’t simply sell products, they sell meaning, identity and cultural aspiration.  Through intruiging regional case studies from Maison Pyramide, students learnt how strategic storytelling, cultural positioning, influencer partnerships, media relations, and community engagement amalgamate to build strong brand relevance and visibility.


Another key highlight of the masterclass was the evolution of public relations in an increasingly experience focussed digital world. Clare emphasised how luxury communications has expanded beyond traditional media to encompass communities, immersive experiences, creators and cultural conversations, that requires brands to engage audiences in more organic and meaningful ways.



Lastly the session provided invaluable insights into how luxury brands curate narratives that resonate across industries while remaining true to their identity and culture. Students gained in depth knowledge of the strategic thinking behind successful communication campaigns and the critical role PR plays in shaping consumer’s connection and perception.
