Four FAD design students received tremendous recognition on being featured in the iconic publication The National’s Luxury Magazine. Tijani Adebimpe, Rakshana Krishnan, Kalistar & Dhara Sheth had their collections published post their pieces being showcased at the Middle East Fashion Week.
The article 'Class of 22' revolved around the exquisite details of the silhouettes followed by a brief video of the designers inspirations. The magazine quotes, “FAD’s Rakshana Krishnan, Kalistar, Tijani Adebimpe and Dhara Sheth collectively delivered some dynamic ideas.”
FAD Styling talents also worked on the editorial shoot for the collections alongside the Deputy Luxury Editor for the National, Sarah Maisey.
The varied collections showcased mystic hues drenched in widespread avant-garde silhouettes like contoured coordinates, voluminous gowns, flowy A-line dresses, jumpsuits etc featuring details like embellished corsets,3D bodice, gaters, intricate patchwork, billowing sleeves, exaggerated ruffles and ruches, structured pleats and trims and floral print etc.
FAD aims at putting forward an industry exposed platform where each of its students can outshine and mark a prominent mark in the fashion and luxury Industry.
