Gianni Versace Retrospective Visit in London

Students explore the legacy of Gianni Versace through an immersive retrospective as part of FAD’s Europe Tour.

As part of the FAD Europe Tour, students experienced global fashion firsthand through curated visits to leading fashion houses, cultural institutions and exhibitions across London and Milan.

A key highlight was the visit to the Gianni Versace Retrospective at Arches London Bridge, featuring over 450 rare and archival pieces, many never previously shown in the UK.

The exhibition offered students a deep dive into Versace’s creative legacy, showcasing his bold visual language, iconic silhouettes and lasting cultural impact. Featuring looks worn by global icons such as Princess Diana, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Elton John, the retrospective highlighted the brand’s strong connection between fashion, celebrity and pop culture.

The experience reinforced FAD’s approach to experiential learning, allowing students to engage directly with global fashion archives and design histories, strengthening their understanding of brand legacy and fashion evolution.
