DECONSTRUCTING THE FILA SHOE: In conversation with Abdon Lepcha - Creative Head, FILA India.
After graduating and being conferred with 2 national awards in the year 2000, Abdon Lepcha started his career with a Buying house in Delhi and moved to Paris to work for a fashion label as a Fashion Designer. He worked with Vikram Overseas as the Head of Design division for more than 6 years, handling various clients from GUESS, Tom Tailor, Marc O Polo, Zara, Review, Campus, Reebok, Anthropologie and many more. With the background of buying and exports, Abdon moved to Retail in 2011 and joined PUMA India as the Design Head for 6+ years. In 2017, joined Cravatex Brands Ltd. as Design & Creative Head.
He is extremely passionate about football and currently playing for the Mumbai Tigers FC (Roots Premier League- Mumbai). He is the member of the advisory board for Kickstart Football Academy (Bangalore), and clubs like Virus FC and Kanchenjunga FC (Bangalore).
